Sara Lige studied Interior Design at Douglas College in Surrey, B.C. and worked for twenty years as an architectural draftsperson and kitchen designer. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Okanagan University College in Kelowna in 2000. Along with her active studio practice, Lige teaches classes at the Kelowna Art Gallery and is the founder of COOL ARTS, a non-profit group dedicated to providing opportunities in the Fine Arts to adults with developmental disabilities.
